CURRENT SHOW INFORMATION (as of 3/30/20)

  • HAMILTON performances at the Hollywood Pantages have been suspended through April 19th.
  • THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL performances at the Dolby Theatre, scheduled to run March 24th – April 12th, have been cancelled.  
  • THE ILLUSIONISTS, originally scheduled for April 14th – 19th at the Dolby Theatre, is being rescheduled.
  • THE BAND'S VISIT national tour has announced a hiatus through July 26th. Information related to affected Dolby Theatre engagement dates are available.

If you have a ticket for a suspended or cancelled performance, you should have already received an email notification that we are in the process of refunding your money for those shows.

If you have a ticket for a rescheduled performance, we ask that you hold on to your tickets until we can contact you about the rescheduled dates.

Thursday, April 2, 2020 - 12:45 p.m. (PT): During this time of uncertainty and health agency Safer-at-home directives, a number of patrons continue to ask if this will immediately impact any performances currently scheduled after April 19th. The Broadway in Hollywood team continues to take its lead from both LA County and CA State government & health officials for any potential updates to the current mandate, which currently stipulates safer-at-home through April 19th. While we expect these directives to be extended, our pledge is to provide updates to all our theater fans upon hearing word of any official City, County, State or Federal mandates which extend beyond that date.


Monday, March 30, 2020 - 11:00 a.m. (PT): Due to the unprecedented public health crisis facing our country, producers have announced that the national tour of The Band's Visit is now on hiatus through July 26, 2020. This includes ALL performances of THE BAND'S VISIT scheduled at the Dolby Theatre July 7th – 26th, 2020. We are currently exploring all options including rescheduling the show.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR CURRENT TICKET HOLDERS?

  • In the coming weeks, ticket holders will receive an informative email of what the plans are for the show. Until then we ask that you please wait for us to contact you with detailed information about your tickets.
  • We are keenly aware that many of you are wondering about the performance status of both MEAN GIRLS and MY FAIR LADY. At this time we are waiting for further state or county directives regarding our ability to present these shows between late April and June.

Friday, March 20, 2020 - 6:50 (PT): At the direction of officials with the County of Los Angeles, ALL performances of THE ILLUSIONISTS at the Dolby Theatre April 14 - 19, 2020 will be rescheduled, in support of the well-being of the theatre-going public as well as those who work on the production.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR CURRENT TICKET HOLDERS?

  • The show will continue to play at the Dolby Theatre.
  • In the coming weeks, we will send an email to all current ticket holders informing them of the new dates.  Until then we ask that you please wait for us to contact you about dates and options.
  • Your tickets will be valid on the new date for the same locations.

Friday, March 20, 2020 - 4:00 (PT): At the direction of officials with the County of Los Angeles, ALL performances of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL at the Dolby Theatre March 24th – April 12th, 2020 have been cancelled, in support of the well-being of the theatre-going public as well as those who work on the production.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR CURRENT TICKET HOLDERS?

  • All patrons who bought tickets will be refunded in full. At this time, we are working with greatly reduced staffing and your refund will be processed as soon as possible. If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets from Ticketmaster.

If you have purchased tickets to a performance of HAMILTON during this time period, we have already initiated a refund of your money including fees (except UPS if applicable). At this time, we are working with greatly reduced staffing and your refund will be processed as soon as possible. If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets from Ticketmaster.

March 16, 2020 - 10:50 a.m. (PT): In support of the well-being of the theatre-going public as well as those who work at the theatre, THE HOLLYWOOD PANTAGES THEATRE BOX OFFICE IS CLOSED until further notice.

Additionally, the Dolby Theatre box office will close until further notice beginning Tuesday, March 17th.


March 12, 2020 - 1:35 p.m. (PT): At the direction of Governor Gavin Newsom, performances of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL at the Dolby Theatre will be suspended Tuesday, March 24th through Tuesday, March 31st, in support of the well-being of the theatre-going public as well as those who work on the production, subject to ongoing assessment by County or State Health Authorities. 

If you have purchased tickets to a performance of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL during this time period, we have already initiated a refund of your money including fees (except UPS if applicable). Ticket refunds should be received within 7-10 business days.

March 9, 2020 - 2:30 p.m. (PT): Broadway in Hollywood is closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation on behalf of the touring Broadway community.  The safety and security of our theatregoers and employees is our highest priority.  We are following the lead of our city, state and federal elected officials as we implement strategies recommended by public health authorities and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in our theatres and offices as Hamilton will continue to play as scheduled.  We have significantly increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in all public and backstage areas beyond the standard daily schedule, and we have added alcohol-based sanitizer dispensers for public use in the lobby bathrooms of every theatre.  We invite patrons to make use of soap, paper towels, and tissues available in all restrooms.  We remain vigilant, and we are prepared to make decisions based on current recommendations, as well as in the response to changing conditions.

Anyone who is experiencing cold or flu symptoms, or who is not feeling well, is encouraged to stay home and contact the point of purchase for more information about ticket exchanges and policies.
