WINTER / SPRING 2026 INTERNSHIPS • JAN 19 – MAY 8, 2026
Broadway in Hollywood, the premiere presenter of touring Broadway in Los Angeles, is offering PAID & college/university credit internships for WINTER / SPRING 2026 onsite at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Interns will work directly with the Broadway in Hollywood marketing team to get hands-on experience and training in live entertainment marketing, publicity, promotions, research, and events. Opportunities may include but are not limited to: market research; assisting at press and special events, coordination of partner promotions, social media, and opening night red carpets. Additionally, interns will also help with coordinating digital and print collateral needs for touring Broadway shows; and content creation for social media. General knowledge of Broadway shows is encouraged, but not required.
PAID INTERNSHIPS | ACADEMIC CREDIT
Paid Internships are also applicable for academic credit at the intern’s college / university. Internships are paid $17.87 per hour. Parking is provided. If applying to also satisfy academic credit, you must submit official documentation of eligibility from your college/university.
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
Scheduling is flexible, but candidates MUST be available to work onsite at least 3 weekdays for a total of 20 hours maximum for a work week. DO NOT APPLY IF MINIMUM AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS CANNOT BE MET. Some weekend and evening availability for events is a plus, but not required. We are currently accepting internship applications for WINTER / SPRING 2026.

Nederlander West Coast, the premiere presenter of Broadway theatre and live entertainment, seeks an Accounts Payable (“A/P”) Specialist to join our accounting team in our Los Angeles office at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in managing and overseeing the full-cycle accounts payable function for multiple venues and year-round live productions. This position ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all A/P processes while serving as a knowledgeable resource to internal departments and external vendors.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, curious, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You excel at problem-solving, take ownership of your work, and bring strong communication and organizational skills to the team.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, In Office
Reports To: Accounting Supervisor
Compensation: $26/hour - $28/hour to start, depending on experience.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable operations from invoice receipt through payment.
- Oversee coding, entry, and approval workflow of high-volume vendor invoices.
- Ensure invoices comply with company policies, vendor contracts, and budget guidelines.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s, banking details, and compliance documents.
- Serve as the point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Process weekly check runs, ACH/Wire transfers, and manual checks with high accuracy.
- Reconcile A/P subledger to the general ledger monthly.
- Monitor aging reports, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and A/P reporting.
- Ensure internal controls are followed to protect confidentiality and safeguard company assets.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all A/P backup and audit records.
- Coordinate with Production, Operations, and Purchasing departments to resolve billing issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve A/P efficiency.
- Assist in system enhancements, including NetSuite optimization or automation tools.
- Assist with expense report audits and reimbursements.
- Support the Finance/Accounting team on special projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of progressive accounts payable experience; entertainment or multi-entity environment a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs.
