STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Nederlander West Coast, Los Angeles Office
Nederlander is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual for the full-time position of Staff Accountant to work in Los Angeles Office located in the Hollywood Pantages Theatre
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant duties will include account reconciliations as well as other accounts receivable and accounts payable related tasks. This position will report directly to the Controller of Broadway in Hollywood. Our ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel, has a strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
Reports To: Controller
Salary: $55,000 to $70,000, depending on experienceRequirements:
- BA in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounts payable/receivable and/or general ledger accounting
- MS Office experience – strong Excel skills
- NetSuite Accounting System experience and proficiency preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, email, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong Work Ethic – eagerness to learn and grow within the Company
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and maintain bank reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet accounts analysis
- Post daily/weekly incoming check/wire/ACH payments (including inter-company payments)
- Create show/events on NetSuite and update accordingly
- Research and track credit card chargebacks
- Reconcile box office/subscription/Ticketmaster sales and record the journal entries in the general ledger
- Download and maintain various financial reports (ie: Parking/Square/Flex Spending)
- Assist with special projects as needed

Broadway in Hollywood and The Hollywood Pantages —the premier presenter of Broadway theatre in Los Angeles—seeks energetic, forward-thinking, and team-oriented individuals to join our Outbound Subscription Sales Team.
If you love live theatre and enjoy connecting with people, this is a great opportunity to turn that passion into a rewarding, part-time role—while helping audiences discover the magic of Broadway.
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective patrons to sell season subscriptions for Broadway in Hollywood’s upcoming or current season
- Participate as part of the Lobby Sales Team, engaging with patrons attending performances at the Pantages Theatre
- Meet minimum sales goals and scheduled hours in accordance with department guidelines
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records
- Provide a consistently high level of customer service and professionalism when working with patrons and fellow staff
What We’re Looking For
- A general knowledge of—and genuine enthusiasm for—live theatre
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, service-oriented approach
- Sales experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a team environment
Theatre education, experience, or a strong passion for theatre is highly valued.
Compensation & Perks
- $18.42/hour + generous commission
- 25–29 hours per week with a flexible schedule

BROADWAY IN HOLLYWOOD INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
SUMMER / FALL 2026 INTERNSHIPS • AUG 10 – NOV 6, 2026
Broadway in Hollywood, the premiere presenter of touring Broadway in Los Angeles, is offering PAID & college/university credit internships for SUMMER FALL 2026 onsite at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Interns will work directly with the Broadway in Hollywood marketing team to get hands-on experience and training in live entertainment marketing, publicity, promotions, research, and events. Opportunities may include but are not limited to: market research; assisting at press and special events, coordination of partner promotions, social media, and opening night red carpets. Additionally, interns will also help with coordinating digital and print collateral needs for touring Broadway shows; and content creation for social media. General knowledge of Broadway shows is encouraged, but not required.
PAID INTERNSHIPS | ACADEMIC CREDIT
Paid Internships are also applicable for academic credit at the intern’s college / university. Internships are paid $18.42 per hour. Parking is provided. If applying to also satisfy academic credit, you must submit official documentation of eligibility from your college/university.
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
Scheduling is flexible, but candidates MUST be available to work onsite at least 3 weekdays for a total of 20 hours maximum for a work week. DO NOT APPLY IF MINIMUM AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS CANNOT BE MET. Some weekend and evening availability for events is a plus, but not required. We are currently accepting internship applications for SUMMER / FALL 2026.
