Nederlander West Coast, Los Angeles Office (Hollywood Pantages Theatre)Los Angeles’ premier touring Broadway venue, the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, is seeking an upbeat, energetic, and organized Runner / Back-Up Receptionist to support daily operations across our office and theatre.
Position Summary
This dual-role position is integral to our team. As a Runner, you will handle courier duties and keep our office fully stocked and operational. As Back-Up Receptionist, you will serve as the welcoming face and voice of the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, ensuring every guest and caller receives a friendly and professional experience.Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, in Office 9am-6:00pm
Reports To: Office Manager
Compensation: $20-$24 per hour depending on experience.Primary Responsibilities
Courier & Runner Duties
- Pick up and drop off mail at the post office, including priority mail, express mail, certified mail, and stamp purchases.
- Make bank runs on behalf of the Nederlander Organization and Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
- Transport and retrieve packages to and from backstage.
- Restock the staff kitchen, Conference rooms, and all copiers with necessary supplies.
- Perform additional errands and office support tasks as needed.
- Occasionally drive Executives to and from off-site meetings.
Receptionist (Back-Up)
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff and departments.
- Respond to customer service emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Greet and assist office guests and theatre patrons in person.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized reception lobby and staff kitchen.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining office equipment and supplies.
- Support occasional customer and patron events.
- Perform general clerical duties and miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of clerical, administrative, or receptionist experience required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the State of CA, car insurance, and a dependable car.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive “can-do” attitude.
- Positive, enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and across all departments.
- Customer-focused commitment to professionalism in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
- Must adhere to company dress code (business casual) and take pride in personal appearance.
- Knowledge of performing arts venue operations is a plus.

BROADWAY IN HOLLYWOOD INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
SPRING / SUMMER 2026 INTERNSHIPS • MAY 11 – AUG 14, 2026
Broadway in Hollywood, the premiere presenter of touring Broadway in Los Angeles, is offering PAID & college/university credit internships for SPRING / SUMMER 2026 onsite at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Interns will work directly with the Broadway in Hollywood marketing team to get hands-on experience and training in live entertainment marketing, publicity, promotions, research, and events. Opportunities may include but are not limited to: market research; assisting at press and special events, coordination of partner promotions, social media, and opening night red carpets. Additionally, interns will also help with coordinating digital and print collateral needs for touring Broadway shows; and content creation for social media. General knowledge of Broadway shows is encouraged, but not required.
PAID INTERNSHIPS | ACADEMIC CREDIT
Paid Internships are also applicable for academic credit at the intern’s college / university. Internships are paid $17.87 per hour. Parking is provided. If applying to also satisfy academic credit, you must submit official documentation of eligibility from your college/university.
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
Scheduling is flexible, but candidates MUST be available to work onsite at least 3 weekdays for a total of 20 hours maximum for a work week. DO NOT APPLY IF MINIMUM AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS CANNOT BE MET. Some weekend and evening availability for events is a plus, but not required. We are currently accepting internship applications for SPRING / SUMMER 2026.
